Jennifer Lopez Receives CFDA Fashion Award
Fashion icon Jennifer Lopez was honored at the annual event held by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
Lopez was granted the Fashion Icon Award for her "long-standing and global impact on fashion", CFDA announced.
"I loved fashion since I was little girl, growing up in the Bronx and to here and among all these designers and to be honored is just a dream," Lopez said on the red carpet.
"I'm wearing Ralph Lauren, a fellow Bronx native,” she added.
A total of 11 awards were presented at the ceremony that took place on Monday night.
