Caretaker Minister of Telecommunications Johnny Corm emphasized that "the telecommunications sector is in a very dire state, as we have not received any funds for maintenance since the beginning of the year."
"We are fulfilling all our duties, but our problems have been growing since the cancellation of the ministry's supplementary budget, and now everything must go through the Ministry of Finance," Corm told Al-Jadeed.
"Every day we face problems in several areas. Generators are starting to malfunction, and we have been forced to secure electricity, although this is not our responsibility," he added.
