Confrontation in Afqa as ISF Clears Unauthorized Constructions on State Property

Security forces entered the town of Afqa on Tuesday to dismantle unauthorized structures built by displaced individuals on public land.

According to local reports, a group of displaced people had erected makeshift housing units on state-owned property, prompting authorities to take action.

As the Internal Security Forces (ISF) began removing the illegal constructions, tensions escalated, leading to a confrontation between the ISF personnel and the displaced individuals. The altercation briefly delayed the operation, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
