Civil Defense Raises Readiness as Fire Risk Index Increases
Based on the daily forest fire bulletin, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has increased its readiness.
The bulletin has indicated a noticeable rise in the risk of forest fires, particularly on the upcoming Friday and Saturday.
It reminds citizens and residents of the importance of contacting number 125 immediately upon witnessing smoke from a fire or in the event of any emergency.
They also urge them to adhere to their guidelines regarding raising awareness about the dangers of forest fires and to refrain from using fireworks and explosives, which could cause severe losses in forests and damage to property.
