The Obamas to Visit the Clooneys at their Italy Mansion

Former president Barack Obama and his Michelle, as well as their daughters Malia and Sasha, will visit George Clooney's mansion on Lake Como, Laglio, during their European jet-set tour.

The family will join Clooney and his wife Amal at a charity dinner for The Clooney Foundation for Justice on Saturday evening after their arrival on Friday.

The Obamas are set head for Italy after spending a vacation in France's Provence.

Laglio’s governor set a fine of $565 for any vessel or vehicle approaching within 300ft of the Villa Oleandra, as Mayor Roberto Pozzi also announced that the government was taking a number of security measures.

“The parking lot at the back of Villa Oleandra will be closed for two days, Saturday and Sunday, because it should be available for the security service cars. In the territory and also on the lake, numerous men and law enforcement agencies will be in service,” Pozzi told Estadao.

The Piazza Barelli, the Riva Soldino beach nearby, the town's pier and the water surrounding the villa will be closed to everyone.

Drone pilots will also be prohibited.
