Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati called Monday morning for the caretaker cabinet to convene Wednesday at 10 a.m to discuss, among other things, the financing of fuel for the country's power plants.
The meeting had been expected for several days, as Électricité du Liban had to drastically reduce its electricity production last week due to lack of fuel, causing political tensions.
