Cabinet Convenes at Grand Serail with Presence of 16 Ministers

The Cabinet is convening at the Grand Serail, with a quorum achieved and the presence of 16 ministers.

Before the session, the caretaker Minister of Communications Johnny Corm stated, "Today's session will not witness the appointment of a Chief of Staff, and I do not think there are proposals outside the agenda."

In turn, caretaker Minister of Labor, Moustafa Bayram, confirmed to Grand Lebanon that no Chief of Staff will be appointed in today's session.

In response to a question, caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Abbas al Hajj Hassan, indicated that the rights of civilian and military retirees are a priority and that the treasury has funds.

According to Voice of Lebanon, today's cabinet session will not witness appointments for the military council, and the issue of salary increases will not be approved.

There was a divergence of opinions in the ministerial committee yesterday, leading to its postponement for further discussion.
