Former Minister Jihad Azour stated that he is not a candidate of defiance, stating, "Together, we can change the current situation."

In a message to the Lebanese people, he emphasized that the only choice is to overcome polarization and narrow considerations in order to unite and save Lebanon.

Azour explained that addressing Lebanon's problems is not easy, but he noted that these problems can be resolved.

"I want my candidacy to be a source of hope and a contribution to the solution, not a cause for fear," he asserted.

Azour stressed that he is open to discussion to ensure a unanimous national position that Lebanon needs.

"We are all isolated from the world, and we must break the isolation of our country," he concluded.
