Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Beirut and its suburbs, Archbishop Elias Audi, on Sunday stressed that Lebanon sought human and leaders mercy on the people in a bid for the country to rise again.

“The Parliament must perform its duty according to our country’s Constitution, elect a president within the specified period, intensify its meetings, and engage in supervisory and legislative work,” Audi said during his weekly sermon.
