Two months after announcing his newest studio album entitled The No 6 Collaborations Project, Ed Sheeran has released the hotly-anticipated soundtrack.
Every one of the fifteen songs on the album is a collaboration and the track listing features some of the biggest names in music.
As well as Eminem and 50 Cent, fans can expect tracks with Stormzy, Camilla Cabello and Cardi B.
Previously released singles also on this album include I Don’t Care with Justin Bieber, Blow with Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, and Cross Me with Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock.
Fans took to social media to express their excitement at the album release with one user tweeting that Sheeran was a genius. Another praised the return of 50 Cent and Eminem who collaborate with the singer on Remember The Name.
Sheeran also revealed on his Instagram story @teddysphotos that Antisocial, the latest single to be released from the album and a collaboration with Travis Scott, includes a recording that DJ Grandmaster Flash – one of the pioneers of hip-hop DJing – took at a wedding.
On Take Me Back to London, The Shape of You singer pairs up with grime headliner Stormzy for a nostalgia-driven track about there being no place like home. In it, the singer brags about how much money he made on his recent tour, balancing the boast with how he’s not been home in a while. The pair, who have both headlined Glastonbury, England's biggest music festival, also refer to each other as Ted and big Mike, and recount a conversation they had back in 2015 in a bar in Baddingham.
Ahead of the album release, Sheeran said: “Before I was signed in 2011, I made an EP called No.5 Collaborations Project. Since then, I’ve always wanted to do another, so I started No.6 on my laptop when I was on tour last year. I’m a huge fan of all the artists I’ve collaborated with and it’s been a lot of fun to make.”
The album is the follow up to Sheeran’s last studio release, Divide which was released in March 2017. It was the bestselling album of 2017, with 6.1 million copies sold around the globe.
