Arrest of Drug Trafficking Gang in Tyre

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division has announced the apprehension of Syrian and Palestinian individuals involved in the distribution of drugs in Tyre and its vicinity.

Two cars, a BMW and a Mercedes, were confiscated during the operation.

Upon inspecting the vehicles, authorities discovered 2,080 grams of cannabis, seven envelopes containing 7 grams of cocaine (crack), 137 illicit pills of various types, cigarette rolling papers, notebooks used for rolling cigarettes, a sum of money, and four mobile phones.

Furthermore, a search conducted at the residence of one of the suspects in Tyre led to the discovery of 459 illicit pills of different varieties, five envelopes containing cannabis, seven rolling papers, and a plastic box containing narcotic pills.

During the subsequent interrogation, the suspects admitted to their involvement in drug trafficking within Tyre and its suburbs, as well as confessed to their own drug consumption.
