The International Labour Organization (ILO), the Ain Ebel Municipality, the AWFA Association, the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA), and the path were all officially opened in Ain Ebel after three years of hard work and commitment.

The Community Support Program (CSP), which conducted the initiative and provided training on the fundamentals of tourism advice, is a partner in this USAID-funded project.

By collaborating with the LMTA in an ILO-funded program, they might develop the project and sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association, making the Ain Ebel trail the first LMT Network Trail in Lebanon.

Ain Ebel, a mountainous and ancient village with several archeological monuments, is located in southern Lebanon.
