The first qualifying session of the year is upon us with the Bahrain International Circuit hosting the opening round of the year.
Carlos Sainz enters the session having topped the final free practice session ahead of compatriot Fernando Alonso.
Qualifying is split into three segments, with the five slowest drivers eliminated at the end of the first two before the third decides the top 10 starting positions for the Grand Prix.
