Internal Security Forces Arrests Three Alleged Drug Traffickers, Reportedly Led by Dealer in Georgia

The Internal Security Forces on Friday said in a statement that the three individuals who were arrested for alleged drug trafficking operating primarily in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, confessed working for a drug trafficking network run by a person present in Georgia.

One of the suspects allegedly had quantities of cocaine and marijuana that he was selling out of his car in Jounieh, while the second was allegedly selling cocaine and marijuana out of his car in Adonis.

The third suspect was selling Captagon out of his car in Batroun, and was arrested while in possession of an electronic cigarette that contained cannabis oil.

The three detainees have been referred to the judiciary.
