General Directorate of Internal Security Forces indicated that "thanks to continuous surveillance of the central prison of Roumieh, a drone was spotted, flying over the convicts building, on 3/32/2023."

The device was seized by the prison guards who discovered a bag filled with 74 narcotic pills, in addition to a mobile phone.

Investigations and efforts are underway under the supervision of competent authorities to arrest those involved in the case.
