Israel Conducts Largest Airstrike Wave on Hezbollah in Lebanon Since Fighting Began
The Israeli Air Force carried out its largest coordinated strike against Hezbollah in Lebanon since the outbreak of hostilities, targeting roughly 100 sites across Beirut, the Beqaa Valley, and southern Lebanon in a span of ten minutes, the Israeli army said.

There's Only So Much Lebanon's Army Can Do Against Hezbollah
On March 2, Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel – though the decision for it to do so was almost certainly made by Iran – carrying Lebanon into a new war with Israeli forces. On the same day, Lebanon's government declared Hezbollah's military and security activities illegal. Shortly thereafter, army commander General Rodolphe Haykal made it clear to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam that the military did not have the means to implement the government's decision. Now, the Lebanese army finds itself in an uncomfortable position.

Cabinet to Review 2025 Budget Draft in September 10 Session
The Cabinet will meet at 9 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the Grand Serail to address various topics outlined in the agenda distributed to ministers.
The session will include a presentation by the Finance Minister on the draft budget for 2025, which was circulated to officials on August 30, 2024.
The meeting will be adjourned and then reconvened at 3:30 PM to deliberate further on the draft budget law for 2025.
