The trial of former Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn will be postponed until next year, Japanese media reported on Saturday.

According to Kyodo News, the Tokyo District Court had initially planned to begin the trial in September, but has now retracted the plan without setting a new schedule.

This could mean that the hearing will not start this year, unnamed sources said.
