The "National News Agency" reported that MP Haidar Nasser did not participate in the non-binding parliamentary consultations, as he did not attend his scheduled afternoon meeting with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam.
Similarly, MP Bilal Hocheimi also failed to attend the consultations earlier in the day.
It is worth noting that Hocheimi had earlier named Mikati as his choice for forming the government.
