Trump: We Don't Know Who to Deal With in Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States "does not know who to deal with" in Iran.

Trump made his latest remarks about the conflict while speaking at a truck manufacturing plant in Denton, Texas, on Thursday, before heading to a campaign rally in Durant, Oklahoma.

He said that the United States is "trying to be nice" to the current Iranian leader, without mentioning Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, while "seeking to find someone to negotiate with."

He explained: "Their leaders have mostly left. That was one of our problems, to be honest, we do not know who we should be dealing with."

Trump continued: "We are trying to be nice to the current person, but we have to deal with someone at some point. So we are doing very well."

Trump also expressed confidence in the outcome of the war, expecting "a quick solution to it."

He added: "We will win very easily," indicating his belief that victory will be achieved "right after the midterm elections (next November), or perhaps before them."

The U.S. President stated: "Their currency is worthless. They have no money. And they have no navy; all of their 159 ships are now beautifully resting at the bottom of the sea."

Trump concluded by saying: "They have some missiles, but we can handle it. There are only a few left, and their manufacturing capabilities have completely stopped."

The United States continues to mobilize more military capabilities in the region, with signs of stalled negotiations with Iran that intermediaries are trying to revive.
