Cheapest and Most Expensive Travel Destinations Unveiled

Cairo has been ranked as the cheapest travel destination at the present time, with an average cost of $313.50 for an overnight city break for two, according to a recent report realeased by global financial services firm UBS.

Cairo was followed by Lagos at $314.10, Mumbai at $347.40, Istanbul at $362.80, and Johannesburg at $383.70.

Those interested in travelling to Europe can also find affordable options in Bulgaria which with an average cost of $385.10.

Bangkok and Manila also made the list with average costs of $388.70 and $391.20 for an overnight city break for two.

Kuala Lumpur and New Delhi were the last two cities to make it to the top 10 cheapest stops, with average overnight costs of $389.70 and $389.90, respectively.

On the other hand, New York City and Seoul were found to be the most expensive travel destinations with a respective average cost of $1075 and $1002 for an overnight stay.

Geneva, Oslo and Zurich were ranked in the third, fourth and fifth places, with an average cost ranging between $930 and $966.

All of Tokyo, Dubai, Paris, Frankfurt and Copenhagen have also made it into the top ten most expensive cities.
