TotalEnergies, serving as the operator and representative of its partners Eni and QatarEnergy, has yet to finalize the exploration and extraction contracts for Blocks 8 and 10.

The Cabinet's deadline for signing these contracts expired on Friday, with no agreement reached.

If an extension is not granted based on a proposal from the Ministry of Energy, Blocks 8 and 10 will be reintroduced in the third licensing round.
