PSG Intensify Talks for Sergio Ramos

Paris Saint-Germain are determined to try and land Sergio Ramos on a free, once his contract at Real Madrid comes to an end on June 30.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez made clear that Los Blancos wanted to keep hold of their captain, but by the time he came to accept their offer of a one-year contract extension, it was too late.

Now, according to L'Equipe, talks between Ramos' camp and PSG have intensified in the last few days, with the two sides not too far away from reaching an agreement.

However, as was the case with Real Madrid, Ramos' desire for a two-year contract has been a stumbling block.

PSG had initially offered the 35-year-old a one-year deal, but he is adamant that he wants to sign a contract that will keep him at his next club for the next two seasons.
