Real Madrid fell to yet another defeat on Tuesday evening against Tottenham Hotspur as their terrible 12 months continued to plague their pre-season.
There are clear issues at the club, but Zinedine Zidane is doing his best to keep positive.
"It's a great team," assured Zidane of his side, explaining that all they're missing is a win to regain confidence.
The coach explained that his confidence is based on what he sees from the side on a daily basis in training, but the reality is that it's been over seven months since they picked up the results they've wanted.
Madrid are having a hard time winning games, and since their victory over Girona on February 17, they've emerged victorious seven times in 21 matches, losing 11 and drawing three.
These aren't figures befitting of a Real Madrid team, and they take Santiago Solari and Zidane's spells into consideration.
In these 21 games they've scored 30 goals and leaked 39. These figures show two realities - they're lacking in attack and at the back.
If Solari's record is overlooked and we focus on Zidane's since his arrival on March 11, he's won just five times in 15 games, losing seven and drawing three, meaning he has a win percentage of just 33 percent.
In his first spell at the club that figure was 70 percent - winning 105 of his 149 games, drawing 28 and losing just 16.
Madrid haven't been ahead for a single minute this pre-season, but Zidane remains confident that that will change once they win and with Fenerbache coming next, nothing is guaranteed.
