Sources: Israel Hits Hezbollah Sites in Largest Electronic Warfare Operation Since 2006

Israel carried out a large-scale electronic jamming operation earlier this week that disrupted communications across Hezbollah positions in Lebanon’s southern border towns and parts of Beirut’s southern suburbs, senior Lebanese security sources told Erem News.

The sources described the move as the most extensive electronic warfare action since the 2006 July War, saying it appeared to serve as a “final warning” ahead of a potential full-scale confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah.

According to the same sources, the jamming operation targeted Hezbollah’s internal communications networks, drone guidance systems, and air defense radar installations in several Lebanese areas. The interference reportedly caused significant disruptions in the group’s ability to coordinate movements and monitor airspace.
