Litani River Authority announced in a statement on Saturday that deputy Najat Aoun Saliba visited Charles Helou hydroelectric power plant, where the Authority's technical team provided her with a detailed explanation of the production conditions and work difficulties.

Saliba affirmed her support for all clean and renewable energy production projects.

The visit included a presentation of ways to expand the initial station and increase the outlets to ensure wider power supply.
