Report: US Pressure Restrains Israeli Action Amid Coordinated Revival by Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran

Israeli defense officials have warned that Hamas is coordinating closely with Hezbollah and Iran to revive the so-called “axis of resistance,” even as the Israeli army expands operations in Gaza and southern Lebanon, the Jerusalem Post reported Thursday.

Israeli military sources say that Hamas and Hezbollah, with Iranian backing, are actively restoring infrastructure, moving weapons into southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, recruiting new operatives, and intensifying training in preparation for potential future conflict with Israel.

Southern Command sources added that US pressure is currently limiting a more forceful Israeli response to repeated ceasefire violations by Hezbollah. At the same time, Hamas’s military wing has reportedly been rebuilding its capabilities since the ceasefire, gathering intelligence, training operatives, and looking for opportunities to launch limited, surprise attacks against IDF units inside Palestinian territory.
