Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi on Saturday said that what Archbishop Moussa Al-Hajj has done was a humanitarian act, and some Lebanese live in the Holy Land and have a role, presence, and message in isolation from the Israeli-Jewish policy.
“They said that we are agents, but we will not abandon our hearts,” Al-Rahi said from Monastery of Saint Sarkis and Bacchus in Rayfoun.
“Agriculture connects us to our land in order to discover our identity and our mission, and it teaches us humanity,” he added.
“We will not give up aid, and we will keep on maintaining the same position. We also received a call from President Aoun from the first day,” Al-Rahi said in an interview with MTV.
