Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, presided over the Sunday Mass in Bkerke, asking the deputies: "How did you refuse to convene to elect a president, and today you meet and secure a quorum to postpone another constitutional due date?"

The patriarch also criticized the deputies for not electing a president and held them responsible for the complete economic, financial, developmental and social collapse.
