Public Prosecutor Judge Jamal al-Hajjar announced that the judicial measure against former Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh is a four-day preventive detention. 

Salameh will be referred to an investigating judge who will conduct an interrogation and determine the appropriate judicial course of action.

Judge al-Hajjar indicated that among the potential outcomes of this process could be the issuance of a detention order.
