A group of protesters on Thursday stormed the Energy of Ministry amid crippling power cuts.

“What is happening is a crime and the people are not ready to die slowly,” one protester said.

Another protester called for the resoration of power, especially since some people are dying at hospitals' doors.

A dispute broke out between protesters and staff of the Energy Ministry, prompting the security forces to intervene in a bid to prevent the dispute from escalating.

The protesters called upon the Lebanese to join them as the economic crisis is affecting everyone and the Lebanese state should immediately take action and find a solution.
