During his patronage of the Conference on Strengthening the Christian Presence in Lebanon, held at the Patriarchal Residence in Bkerke, Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi stated, "Lebanon does not die; we have passed through difficult circumstances, and all signs point to the end of the road, leading to salvation under the protection of Our Lady of Lebanon."

He emphasized, "We need to rebuild without fear and with confidence, learning to join hands with one another. We all look forward to January 9, and we are certain that a president will be elected in the new year of 2025, which His Holiness the Pope has declared as a sacred year."

On another note, al-Rahi met with MP Neemat Frem to discuss the latest presidential developments and the session scheduled for the 9th of next month.
