The North of Confrontation bloc, which is made up of MPs Michel Mouawad and Adib Abdelmassih, has voted for Nawaf Salam in the binding consultations held at Baabda Palace on Thursday.

"The opposition’s division is the main obstacle hindering our capacity to achieve a change and it will render us an effectless hindering power instead of a changing power,” said Mouawad.
