American citizens who lose their passport or need any help while in Austria can now head to McDonald’s to seek support from their country's embassy.

"Staff (at any McDonald's in Austria) will assist them in making contact with the US Embassy for consular services," the U.S. embassy in Austria wrote in a Facebook post.

Consular services provided at the global food chain include reporting a lost or stolen passport or looking for travel assistance.
