The Directorate of Intelligence in the Army in Bekaa seized millions of Captagon pills hidden inside industrial vehicles in one of the warehouses in the Taanayel area.

The operation, which was carried out at night, resulted in the arrest of a number of Lebanese and Syrians who were caught in the act. Tens of millions of Captagon pills were also seized, which were hidden inside tanks of large heaters and air conditioners that were being welded to hide them and prepare them for export to Arab countries. The value of the seized items was estimated at about twenty million dollars.

The Directorate of Intelligence carried out a series of raids and ambushes in Chtoura and West Bekaa, resulting in the arrest of more involved individuals.
