Mikati to Visit Egypt Next Week

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati's visited Algeria to participate in the Arab Summit meetings, "mourning" the prosperous and brilliant Lebanon. 

Mikati also held side meetings aiming at helping Lebanon. Well-informed political sources said that Mikati's meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi was of remarkable importance, as Egypt reiterated its commitment to support Lebanon and help it overcome its crisis.

For his part, Al-Sissi stressed the necessity of electing a president who would bring together the Lebanese. 

He also stressed the readiness of his country to assist in the task, in a bid to put an end to Lebanon's collapse.

In this context, sources revealed that Mikati would visit Egypt at the end of next week, to resume talks he held with Al-Sissi in Algeria on both political and health levels, noting that Egypt promised aid to face of cholera and responsibility is tasked to health ministers of the two countries.
