Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati assured that there was no possibility of giving a loan to Électricité du Liban without a decree from the Council of Ministers, saying that a session will be held but will be postponed until next week due to recent social considerations.
He noted in an interview with An-Nahar that he will hold the session without inquiring about attendees.
Mikati concluded that tensions had yet to ease between him and the head of the Free Patriotic Movement Gebran Bassil.
