Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, attended Eid prayers in Grand Mansouri Mosque in Tripoli, in addition to political, religious, military and social dignitaries and public delegations from Tripoli and the North.

PM Mikati wished that the Israeli aggression against southern Lebanon would end, saying: “We are all confident that our nation will regain its health with everyone's combined efforts, positive cooperation, and understanding around the state, whose continuity and structure we are keen to work to ensure.”

He added: "We also hope that international and Arab efforts will result in an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and that the Palestinians will enjoy security and stability."
