Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati confirmed that the House of Representatives shall remain in session when the government resigns and takes care of business.

“Our goal is to elect a president as soon as possible who is capable of gathering the Lebanese not dividing them,” Mikati pointed out in an interview with Sky News.
