Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Tuesday deemed understanding and dialogue as key, affirming that the Independence wouldn’t have happened hadn’t the Lebanese’ unity.

“We cannot maintain Independence if we are not united. Today’s dialogue was serious and it will lead to positive results,” Mikati said following his meeting with President Michel Aoun and Speaker Nabih Berri in Baabda.
