Richa Deems Beirut Clashes as a Wakeup Call for All Lebanese

Kataeb’s Information Council Head Patrick Richa on Friday said that the kataeb party toured yesterday a number of streets in Ain el-Remmaneh and Furn al Chebbak in a bid to ensure the safety of the residents; affirming that the Lebanese army must be present in these areas.

“We are witnessing the same events of the 2005 Cedar Revolution. These events might lead to the suspension of the Beirut blast investigation,” Richa said in an interview with MTV.

Richa deemed Beirut clashes as a wakeup call for all Lebanese; affirming that few understood what happened.

“We, as the kataeb party, have warned the Lebanese army that something might happen but it has not taken any proactive measure,” he stressed.

Richa voiced regret over the ones who were killed in yesterday’s violent clashes; saying that Hezbollah should know that a lot of people are against its policy.
