Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Wednesday made a surprise appearance at the Parliament where he attended a Finance and Budget parliamentary committee session aimed at discussing the 2019 draft state budget.
Speaking to reporters after leaving the meeting, Hariri reiterated the need for hard reformatory decisions for the sake of Lebanon's youth and economy.
Hariri described the committee's budget talks as positive, noting that what is important is to maintain the deficit in the draft budget at 7.6 percent.
