Lebanon-Israel Border Demarcation Agreement Signing Ceremony Ends

Lebanon-Israel Maritime border demarcation agreement signing ceremony ended in Naqoura.

Signing took place at the UNIFIL base.

International borders in Naqoura have witnessed on Thursday an exceptional day that the concerned parties have been waiting for since the start of maritime demarcation talks two years ago.

A number of activists who stood against the demarcation agreement carried out a protest at the northern entrance to Naqoura, during which they raised the Lebanese and Palestinian flags, refusing to infringe on Lebanon's sovereignty and maritime rights.

Dozens of meters away from the protests, Hezbollah raised a sculpture of Qassem Soleimani as well as other sculptures and pictures of its members.
