Lebanese Army Seizes Control of Another Palestinian Faction Military Position

The Lebanese Army has taken control of the Qusaya-Zahle military position, which had been under the control of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command.

According to a statement, the army seized large quantities of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment during the operation. Additionally, specialized units have been deployed to detonate landmines and dismantle unexploded ordnance around the area, ensuring the safety of the surrounding environment.

This move is part of the Lebanese Army’s ongoing efforts to assert the authority of the state, restore security, and maintain stability across the country. The military has been engaged in a series of operations aimed at reclaiming military positions that had long been controlled by Palestinian factions, which have historically operated in certain regions of Lebanon.

In recent days, the Lebanese Army has expanded its efforts, taking control of several other key sites.
