Kataeb’s Foreign Affairs Department Condemns Iran’s Missile Attacks on UAE and Oman

The Foreign Affairs Department of the Lebanese Kataeb Party on Tuesday strongly condemned a missile attack that targeted one of the world’s largest oil storage facilities in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, as well as the assault that hit the Sultanate of Oman.

In a statement, the department said the firing of missiles toward Emirati and Omani territory constituted a hostile act and a blatant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborly relations. It described the incidents as a dangerous and unjustified escalation that threatens the security and stability of the entire region.

The department held Iran fully responsible for what it described as the aggressive conduct, adding that the continued escalation of such attacks reflects Tehran's “disruptive project” targeting peaceful neighboring states.

The statement reaffirmed the Kataeb Party’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, both their leaderships and their peoples, in the face of repeated attacks. It also stressed their legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard their sovereignty and protect their national security.
