Israeli Airstrikes Injure Four in Southern Lebanon, Cause Extensive Damage

In a series of early morning airstrikes, an Israeli drone targeted multiple areas in southern Lebanon today, leaving four civilians injured and causing significant property damage.

At approximately 8:20 a.m., an Israeli drone launched a missile at an open area located on the eastern outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa. However, the missile failed to detonate.

Simultaneously, another strike hit the town of Majdal in the Tyre district, and a separate airstrike targeted the town of Shihin.

According to a statement from the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, three people were injured in the Majdal strike. Two of the victims, who sustained minor injuries, were treated at the scene, while the third, who suffered moderate injuries, was admitted to the Lebanese-Italian Hospital for further treatment.

In Shihin, one person was slightly injured and taken to Jabal Amel Hospital for medical care.

Earlier in the day, Israeli forces launched heavy fire at the town of Aita al-Shaab, resulting in severe damage to local property.

Israeli military aircraft, including warplanes, reconnaissance planes, and drones, have been flying over villages in the western and central sectors of the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts since last night and into this morning.

Additionally, overnight, the Israeli army fired flares over border villages adjacent to the Blue Line, accompanied by artillery shelling that targeted the outskirts of the towns of Dahira, Ramiya, and Aita al-Shaab.
