Iran's Parliament Speaker to Attend Hezbollah Leaders' Funeral in Lebanon
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf is set to travel to Lebanon on Sunday to attend the funeral of Hezbollah leaders Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, according to a senior Iranian lawmaker.
Alireza Salimi, a member of the Iranian parliament’s presiding board, confirmed the news in an interview with IRNA on Saturday. He revealed that Qalibaf, accompanied by several other Iranian officials and lawmakers, will participate in the funeral procession.
