Not because I no longer love this country, but because I loved it more than it could withstand failure, more than denial would allow, and more than a state that refuses to confront the causes of its own collapse can accept.

The Lebanese Energy Ministry issued on Friday new fuel prices as follows:

- Gasoline 95 octane: LBP  1668.000 (-21000)

- Gasoline 98 octane: LBP 1706.000 (-21000)

- Diesel Oil: LBP 1441.000 (-4000)

- Gas Canister: LBP  831.000 (000)
