French Ambassador Urges Lebanon to Elect President and Form Government

French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, emphasized the urgent need to elect a president and form a government, stressing that France, through its presidential envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian, is actively working to assist Lebanon in this process.

In a speech marking France's National Day, Magro described Lebanon's economic situation as fragile and deceptive despite appearances of luxury, insisting that the path to reform is clear.

"Your future, like Lebanon's future, is in your hands," Magro said in an address to the youth.  France has provided 200 million euros to assist Lebanon in all sectors."
