According to "Annahar", the USD rate will possibly increase after Eid Al-Fitr due to the increase of public sector employees’ salaries, and the raise of customs dollar price to 60 thousand LBP, amid the government's secrecy about the cost of these increases estimated at 4,500 billion LBP per month, and the continuous strike of public sector employees which suspends taxes collection, and therefore causes more currency printing.
