The Association of Banks on Monday issued the following circular:

“Referring to the memorandum of the Presidency of the Cabinet of Ministers to mourn the passing of the Head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, and coinciding with the day of his funeral, the Board of Directors of the Association of Banks in Lebanon has decided to call on member banks for a general closure on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.”
